In 2004, a group of woodturners, passionate about learning and sharing the art of woodturning, got together to form the Emerald Coast Woodturning Guild. Monthly meetings were held in the Freeport Community Center in Freeport, Florida. In the past 20+ years, membership in the group has increased significantly and the guild has become very active in spreading woodturning knowledge in many ways. Monthly meetings are still being held and member’s skill levels range from beginner to advanced. Emerald Coast Woodturning Guild welcomes all who are interested in learning or advancing woodturning skills and knowledge. Our meetings are free to attend and you can become a member any time.
